Providing maritime services in ports related to maritime pilotage to assist ships in navigational operations during entry and exit from ports, and operating STS operations to transport oil derivatives from one ship to another, the facilities have a fleet of port marine service vessels and a crew of pilots, whose primary role is to assist ships during maneuvering operations, including entry and exit from ports, navigating narrow shipping lanes, idle ships, and floating platforms, in addition to providing firefighting and pollution control services (and emergency response)
